Mango Pomelo Sago Tea

mango pomelo sago tea

Creamy yet refreshing, this easy and delicious Mango Pomelo Sago Tea is sure to please your tastebuds this summer! The only things you have to cook are the sago and tea, but you can even buy already made Jasmine green tea if you want to.

For the Jasmine green tea, I just made tea with a tea bag and hot water. I then cooled it down in the fridge. If you don’t want caffeine, feel free to sub with water.

I didn’t find pomelo at my grocery store, so I used oroblanco. It’s very similar to pomelo and grapefruit, however, oroblanco is the best of both worlds! It’s sweet with a hint of tartness! Grapefruit is more tart and pomelo is sweeter. Feel free to use whatever you can find!

For the sago, boil for 11 minutes or so while stirring every few minutes so they don’t stick to the bottom or to each other. Turn off the heat and cover for about 10 minutes until they’re fully cooked. Rinse with cold water, drain, and set aside.

After combining everything, refrigerate the mango pomelo sago tea for a couple of hours before serving!
