When I need more vegetables in my life but still want something that tastes good, beef and broccoli is one of my go-to dishes. Steamed broccoli is stir-fried with marinated flank steak and smothered in a thick, savory, slightly sweet sauce. It’s a perfect companion to steamed white rice.
Ingredients: Dark soy sauce adds flavor, but its main purpose in this recipe is to add a pretty dark color to the dish. You can substitute regular soy sauce if you’d like, but the color won’t be as dark. If you don’t have ABC sweet soy sauce, you can try using a 1:2 ratio of soy sauce and brown sugar.
