Steak Lettuce Wraps

These steak lettuce wraps consist of butter lettuce and seared flat iron steak with a tangy dressing! In about 20 minutes, you’ll have a delicious and healthy meal on the table. 

Flat iron is lean and tender! But feel to free to use your favorite cut of beef. Ribeye would be very tasty with a lot more fat! Yum!

These steak lettuce wraps consist of butter lettuce and seared flat iron steak with a tangy dressing! In about 20 minutes, you’ll have a delicious and healthy meal on the table.

    Steak 

  • Sauce

  • To serve

Instructions

  1.  Prepare all ingredients for the wrap. Combine ingredients for the sauce in a small bowl.
  2. Heat stainless steel pan on high heat for 2-3 minutes. Add oil. 
  3. Once pan starts to smoke, season your steaks with salt and pepper. (Don’t season beforehand or it’ll draw out moisture from the steak preventing a good sear) 
  4. Sear both sides for approximately 3 minutes or until internal temperature registers 120F for medium rare.
  5. Transfer steak to a cutting board and let it rest for at least 10 minutes for the juices to redistribute. The temperature will continue to rise another 5 degrees or so.
