Vietnamese Beef Watercress Salad

vietnamese beef watercress salad

Make this Vietnamese Beef Watercress Salad when you want something nutritious and easy but don’t want to sacrifice flavor! All you have to do is marinate the beef, give it a quick stir-fry on the stove, mix it with watercress, and dress it with nuoc mam cham (all-purpose Vietnamese dressing/sauce)!

I like to mix watercress with some green leaf lettuce because watercress does have a strong peppery bite! If you can’t find watercress, you can try and substitute arugula and green leaf. I would always get so excited when my mom made this for dinner! Even though I call it Vietnamese beef watercress salad, we always ate it with jasmine rice. 🙂

You can add fried shallots on top, but I find it super convenient and tasty to add some crispy Jus Garlic! Mention me for 10% off your order.

Lastly, here is the salad spinner I use in the video to dry my greens. It’s so worth it because I don’t like spending time making a salad only to have it come out watery and bland!
